Diseñada para operaciones de excavación exigentes, esta Hyundai R385LC-9 de 2016 ofrece rendimiento de 38 toneladas mediante la probada potencia Cummins QSL. El motor de seis cilindros turboalimentado con intercooler produce 221 kW a 1850 rpm con 1450 N·m de par máximo, impulsando bombas duales de pistones axiales variables que suministran 2×288 l/min de flujo hidráulico. El control de precisión proviene de motores rotativos de placa oscilante cuantitativa y motores de desplazamiento variables, permitiendo velocidad de giro de 9.3 rpm y operación suave a través de circuitos de trabajo de 36 MPa.
